Arts & Crafts

The Art and Craft group began in November 2017 and was awarded a grant by The Rotary Club in their Community Awards in January 2018.
Shannon and Mel are on hand with a wide range of craft activities for visitors of all ages to try out from 1 until 5 pm. Both are self-confessed ‘
Activities often have a seasonal theme and are very popular with children.

Sessions are unstructured and will cater
Zoe has a large library of art and photography books and is very happy to bring in requested books for visitors to read whilst enjoying a cup of tea! There is a good range of art materials available to use and sessions are relaxed and friendly.
Zoe also creates opportunities for visitors to be part of community art projects, most recently the community bunting featured at the Summer Fayre. Upcoming projects include a collaboration with the community garden group.
There is no age restriction to art and craft sessions. We welcome people of any age who would like to create something whilst visiting the Café. All art and craft sessions are FREE to visitors, donations towards materials are gratefully received
